Due to the health emergency with COVID-19, we have to cancel the 2020 Conference of the UK Association for Computational Mechanics planned for 1-3 April 2020 at Loughborough University campus.

The conference will be possibly rescheduled for next year at approximately the same time of year.

More information will be available as soon as possible.

We would like to thank all the people who have registered for the conference and we hope you will join us at the next conference.

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this difficult time.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Selected abstracts submitted for presentation at the conference have been published here.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences of Loughborough University are proud to host the 2020 Annual Conference of the UK Association for Computational Mechanics from 1st to 3rd April 2020.

The conference provides a forum to present recent advances in computational mechanics (solid and structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, gas, bioengineering, geomechanics, electromagnetics, multi-physics, mesh generation, etc) with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary aspects.
